Our Design team are able to offer a comprehensive mechanical and electrical design service. We can take a client’s concept and using our expertise we can advise on the best value solutions to turn your concept into reality ensuring it’s delivered within budget and on time. Our design team use the latest design software including Autocad, Hevacomp and Relux to produce fully designed and coordinated Electrical and Mechanical building services drawings.

Our designs are backed by Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of £5 million.

We are currently on our journey to achieving BIM Level 2 which will provide client’s and associated project team partners with greater efficiencies in reducing waste and clashes at the design stage of a project.

Maintenance

Our engineers can develop pre-planned preventative maintenance programmes to ensure your installations and equipment is fully functional reducing the risk of failure at critical moments. For those moments when an item of equipment or installation fails when you least expect it we offer a reactive call out maintenance service.

We also provide an electrical load monitoring service which enables clients to identify any anomalies within their electrical distribution systems. The monitoring surveys can be used to identify any unbalanced loads present on three phase installations, enabling a rebalancing of supplies resulting in a more efficient electrical installation.

The information is downloaded and produced in report form for the client to then plan any modifications that may be required to the electrical network.

Lighting Surveys

We can advise on the condition of existing lighting installations with regards to the illuminance and uniformity using RELUX software. This can be provided for general, emergency and external lighting installations. We can also determine the energy usage and advise where energy savings can be made with the installation of alternative luminaires and or lighting controls.
