Our testing, inspection and commissioning department offer a comprehensive service to ensure your installations comply with the current edition of BS7671. Services we offer include:

Electrical Load Monitoring

We also provide an electrical load monitoring service which enables clients to identify any anomalies within their electrical distribution systems. The monitoring surveys can be used to identify any unbalanced loads present on three phase installations, enabling a rebalancing of supplies resulting in a more efficient electrical installation.

The survey records the following information which we recommend is measured over a week.

Energy Usage

The information is downloaded and produced in report form for the client to then plan any modifications that may be required to the electrical network.

Lighting Surveys

We can advise on the condition of existing lighting installations with regards to the illuminance and uniformity using RELUX software. This can be provided for general, emergency and external lighting installations. We can also determine the energy usage and advise where energy savings can be made with the installation of alternative luminaires and or lighting controls.
