Abbey Lane School, SheffieldThe school required a total rewire of the electrical installation but the works had to be carried out while the school was fully operational. This required careful planning with the school staff, children and visitors health and safety paramount. The works included a new distribution network, lighting, emergency and external lighting, small power, fire alarm & detection, security & access systems and IT installations. Greystones School, Sheffield2012 – Greystones School, Sheffield Greystones School was built around 1880 which presented many challenges with its curved structure and impressive oversize brickwork when it was decided the school required to be rewired. Careful consideration was given to planning routes and determining methods of installation in order to provide an aesthetically pleasing finished installation. The new lighting installation was designed to provide illumination to the architectural features of the building. Sheffield City Council Fire Risk Assessment Improvement WorksMajor improvements have been carried out to the fire safety of Abbeyfield Primary, Greenhill Primary & Pipworth Community Primary Schools as well as Chancet Wood Childrens Centre. As part of the improvements W Wright Electrical & Mechanical undertook the installation of emergency lighting, fire alarm and detection systems throughout the buildings.
